Ingredients

• 1 oz VSOP cognac
• 1/2 oz lemon juice
• 1/4 oz pear liqueur
• 1/4 oz simple syrup
• Ice
• Pale lager, such as Stella Artois
• Pear slice for garnish

Instructions

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the cognac, lemon juice, pear liqueur, and simple syrup; shake, with ice, for 10 seconds.
2. Strain over fresh ice into an old-fashioned glass. Top with pale lager of choice. Garnish with pear slice.
