Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water (110 - 115°)
- 3 tsp yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups unbleached flour
- 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
Instructions
- Stir yeast and sugar in warm water to dissolve and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Add salt and flour to water in a mixing bowl and stir well. This dough will be like elastic and sticky.
- Spoon dough into greased muffin tins dusted with flour, filling tins approximately half way. Let the dough rest and rise for 30 minutes; it should double in size.
- Bake in a 450° oven for 15 minutes.
