Homemade Granola

Ingredients
- Preheat oven to 300*.
- 1 Cup of nut butter (almond, hazelnut, walnut)
- 1 Cup of maple syrup (can use dark)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
- Extra Flavoring: vanilla, nutmeg, ground ginger
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups nuts & seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds)
Instructions
- Mix together the nut butter, maple syrup and spices. Mix until smooth.
- Add in the rolled oats.
- Add the nuts to a blender and blend until broken up but still chunky.
- Add blended nuts to mixture and mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Line 2 trays with baking paper and spread the mixture into a thin layer. (Can use a rolling pin to press it down.)
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and flip the mixture.
- Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Cool completely before storing in a dry space.
