  1. Pre-heat oven to 350*F.
  2. Grease and flour 13x9 pan.
  3. Combine sugar, salt, and flour in large mixing bowl.
  4. Bring butter, oil, cocoa, and 1/4 c. water to a boil in a saucepan. Add to the flour mixture.
  5. Beat together eggs, baking soda, buttermilk & vanilla. Add to chocolate mixture.
  6. Mix well and pour into prepared pan.
  7. Bake 25 minutes.
  8. While cake is baking, make the icing by melting the butter in the cocoa and milk over low heat. Bring to a boil then remove from heat.
  9. Stir in confectioner's sugar.
  10. Slowly mix in nuts and vanilla.
  11. Remove cake from oven. After it has cooled a little, cover with tiny marshmallows.
  12. Pour warm icing over the cake and the marshmallows. Cool the cake before serving.
