  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the juice, cranberries, cherries, raisins, onion, sugar, orange peel and cornstarch until well-blended.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil over high heat; reduce to medium-low heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in pistachios and arils.
  4. Cool 15 minutes.
  5. If not using right away, pour into a tightly covered container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
  6. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
