Spicy Roasted Almonds
Spicy roasted almonds, the perfect healthy snack to curb your snack cravings.

Ingredients
- 2 cups dry roasted almonds
- 2 tablespoon olive oil (or avocado oil)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon citric acid (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
- Measure out two cups of whole almonds and set aside. Meanwhile, heat oil in a cast-iron skillet and add all the spices besides the salt and citric acid (if using). Heat for a few minutes or until aromatic.
- Add almonds and cook over medium heat for a few minutes then roast in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle the almonds with salt and citric acid. Allow to cool then enjoy!
